My name is Charlie Taylor and I am the founder of TaylorFit. I love all things sport and exercise related, my main hobby being hockey, which I play at North Premiership level for Didsbury Northern Hockey Club. I am also a keen 10k runner, my PB currently sitting at 47 minutes and I also enjoy tennis and skiing.
I am a qualified solicitor, but after eight years in the law decided that life is too short to be stressed everyday. I looked for a career change into an area I am genuinely passionate about: health and fitness. I am a level 2 qualified gym instructor and level 3 qualified personal trainer who is registered with REPS (Register of Exercise Professionals).
My vision for TaylorFit is to offer a service that not only focuses on personal training, but also on improving one’s health and wellbeing. I want you to be happy and feel good and of course physical fitness is a big part of that. I will though also advise on nutrition, hydration, lifestyle, stress management and mindfulness amongst others! My ethos is to re-energise your mind, body and soul.
A few years ago I suffered a serious knee injury requiring an operation and one year sports rehabilitation. As well as a structured training plan I can provide support and empathy to anyone wanting to get back to their peak physical fitness post-injury. I now play a higher level of hockey than I did before my injury.
Finally, motivation is my thing. Train with me and I am confident you will feel better, see results and hopefully enjoy the journey too.
