MumFit – postnatal circuits class

WHAT: An indoor postnatal circuits style exercise class for mums & their babies (up to walking age)

WHO: MumFit is a postnatal exercise class for mothers bringing along infants up to walking age. A combination of cardio, toning, strength & conditioning for the whole body, focusing on the relevant areas for a new mum. It is a great opportunity to exercise safely, feel good about yourself, meet new mums in your local area: all whilst having fun!


  • Mondays 1.30-2.30pm at The Northern, West Didsbury (except bank holidays)
  • Wednesdays 11.25am-12.25noon at The Northern, West Didsbury (please note the new times on Wednesdays for this block only)
  • 8 classes for £55 when booked in advance, £7.50 PAYG
  • The current block runs Monday 08 Jan/Wednesday 10 Jan to Monday 19/Wednesday 21 March 2018.
  • The next block will then commence Monday 09 April & Wednesday 11 April 2018
  • Please note that registration prior to your first class is essential.

HOW MUCH: £55 for a 8 class pass (redeemable within 11 weeks) or £7.50 pay as you go.

TO BOOK: please download the free GymCatch APP on your mobile phone by going to your APP store. Once GymCatch is downloaded just search for MumFit, purchase an 8 class pass (payment is secure) and then book on for your 8 dates within the current block.

Alternatively please email with your personal details and a list of 8 dates within the current block you wish to book on for. However please note there may be a slight delay in replying to emails due to maternity leave between January & April 2018.

Ts & Cs: All amendments to dates must be done via the GymCatch APP with a minimum of 48 hours notice before the class commences. Please note that it is your responsibility to utilise your 8 classes within the current 11 week block through booking via GymCatch – passes are not transferrable between blocks and refunds are only provided at the discretion of MumFit in exceptional circumstances.

Other info: All classes take place inside in an indoor exercise studio. At the Northern there is a lovely clubhouse for socialising with other mums after the class. The exercise studio at The Northern is upstairs so please bear in mind you will need to transport your infant upstairs (such as in a carry cot). There is a lift if required, prams can be left downstairs which is preferable as space for prams in the exercise studio is limited.

Please wear a good quality sports bra and drink plenty of water before, during and after the class, particularly if you are breastfeeding. Activewear and trainers essential! A few soft toys for your little one is also a good idea – play matts are provided.

To participate in MumFit a 6-8 week GP health check is essential before commencing the class and if you have had a more complex delivery or c-section please get in touch before attending for the first time.

Charlie Taylor, founder of TaylorFit & MumFit is a level 3 qualified personal trainer who holds a level 3 Diploma in designing exercise for the pre & postnatal client and a FutureFit qualification in pre & postnatal nutrition.

TaylorFit Summer Bootcamp 2018

WHEN & WHERE: Wednesdays 6.30-7.30pm at Chorlton Park (off Nell Lane). Summer 2017 bookings are now closed. Bookings for Spring/Summer 2018 will be taken from March 2018.

WHO: Anyone with a basic level of fitness that wants to improve it, whilst having fun in an outdoor summer environment! The Bootcamp will involve some Boxercise, along with other cardio, strength & endurance work.

HOW MUCH: £39 for a 6 week block or **EARLY BIRD OFFER** £73 for a 12 week block! Email to register your interest and to book. Places are limited.
